This book was truly saturated with deep emotions. At the start, the plot seemed to move quite slowly, but on further reading I felt increasingly connected with the drum and the characters. This is not the typical kind of book that I am used to reading, and in doing so I have stepped into the realm of spiritual books. Seeing an inanimate object as more than just that was initially very difficult for me, but it has been a new experience as the author showed me a new way of dealing with difficult situations.
